MCM Comic Con November 2014

On the 22nd of November me, My partner and our two friends went to Comic Con in Birmingham.

This was actually the first convention that I had ever been to and I loved it! I already have plans to go to more when they are near me.

The atmosphere was just really great, we bought priority tickets so that we could get in before others to have a look around. This was a really great idea as even with priority entry lots of people were there.

As soon as you walked in towards the hall there was someone dressed up as The Stig, which was really cool. The costume was really well done too.

There were some men dressed up as toy solders from Toy Story which i really liked.

I loved all the adorable Plushies that were on most of the stalls that we looked at. I honestly wanted to buy all of them! Sadly i didn't have enough money so I just took photographs instead.
 Harley Quinn & The Joker

Judge Dredd

Harley Quinn & Poison Ivy

 Jack sparrow (& me)

 Belle

QuickSliver

Lego Man
 Gamora & Baby Groot

I got to hold a baby Groot and it was one of the best moments ever!!

There was so many amazing cosplayers there, above are a few of my favourites, I didn't manage to get pictures of everyone that i wanted to though because it was so busy!

I would love to cosplay one of the next times that I go, just need to think of a really cool costume!

My partner bought us the coolest cupcakes ever, mine was Finn and his was Jake! they were so yummy and perfectly decorated.

I didn't take much money with me as i knew i would end up spending so much because of all the cool stuff that was there.
I did pick up a really awesome lucky dip from Snikt and Bamf which i really loved!

I also picked up the One Ring from Lord of the Rings because how can you now what it!

Hand knitted Cardigan

I am a big fan of knitting and over the Christmas break I decided to make myself a cardigan.

The pattern that i used was this super cute pattern. I just loved the beautiful lace detail on it.

I officially finished it yesterday when i got round to sewing on the buttons and my lovely partner took some nice photographs of it for me.

I just love the colour that i picked out for it, the wool was called Lupin which made me fall in love with it even more.
I found the buttons from an old skirt that i got on sale but never actually wore, I like that they're all different.

The cute little lace pattern really adds to the charm of the whole thing.
Because it's a cropped cardigan it will be prefect for wearing over my summer dresses to make them last through until Autumn.
This is my first blog post so I'm sorry that it's not the greatest but i do hope to write more in the new year about many other things too.
